How Qrop Codes Work
First, where are you on your journey?
- "I need QR stickers." Simple! Head over to our Shop and browse our range of vinyl sticker packs. Select the size and style you like, hit purchase, and then wait excitedly for your pack to arrive at your door in our eco-friendly packaging.
- "I have my QR stickers!" Awesome. Grab your pack and follow the steps below to bring them to life.
Setting Up Your Pack
1 Open Your Dashboard
Inside your pack, find the card or sticker labeled "Master QR." This is your control center for every sticker in the pack.
- Open your phone's camera and scan the Master QR.
- You will be taken to your private Pack Dashboard. No login or password is required—your physical Master code is your secure key.
2 Pick a Sticker to Program
Your Dashboard will show a list or grid representing the stickers in your pack.
- Tap the "Edit" button next to the sticker you want to set up.
- Choose Your Link: Paste any website URL, or tap "Connect YouTube" to pick a video directly from your channel.
- Hit Save.
3 Stick & Play
Peel off the specific sticker you just programmed and place it on your gear, packaging, or business card.
- Anyone who scans that specific sticker will now be sent to the link you chose.
- The other stickers in your pack remain "ready to go"—you can program them all to the same link or give every single one a unique destination!
Pro-Tip: You can repurpose stickers anytime. If you move Sticker #1 to a new project, just scan your Master QR, find "#1" on your dashboard, and update the link.
Quick Primer: Creating a YouTube Short
Want to share a quick update? You can create a video in seconds right from your phone:
- Record: In the YouTube app, tap (+) > Create a Short.
- Edit: Record your clip, add text, and hit Next.
- Privacy: Select Unlisted. This keeps the video off your public channel but allows anyone who scans your sticker to see it.
- Link it: Scan your Master QR, select a sticker, and pick your new Short from the list!
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can every sticker in my pack go to a different place?
A: Yes! Your Master QR allows you to manage each sticker in the pack independently. You can have ten stickers going to ten different YouTube videos if you like.
Q: Do I need an account?
A: No. Your physical Master QR is your access token. We don't store your name or email—only the links you assign to your codes.
Q: What if I lose my Master QR?
A: Because we don't use accounts, the Master QR is the only way to manage your stickers. We recommend bookmarking your Dashboard URL in your mobile browser or taking a photo of the Master QR as a backup.
Q: How do I know which physical sticker is "#1"?
A: Check the sticker! We print small, ID numbers on the bottom of the each sticker.
Q: Are the stickers durable?
A: Absolutely. They are printed on high-quality, weather-resistant vinyl right here in Australia, designed to handle high-touch use.
